Hannover Leasing's primary shareholder is Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen Girozentrale, which owns 44.79% of the company. 35% belong to Hessisch-Thüringische Sparkassen-Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH. The remaining shareholders are Klaus-Werner Sebbel (17.55%) and Friedrich Wilhelm Patt (2.66%).

Friedrich Wilhelm Patt

After obtaining his degree in Economics, Mr. Patt was a financial auditor and partner at Treuarbeit AG (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) prior to becoming Director of Auditing at Sparkassen- und Giroverband Hessen-Thüringen. He joined Hannover Leasing in 1997 as CEO and has been a Managing Partner since 2003. In 2007 he took on the role of Management Speaker, the company's external representative.

Dr. Hubert Spechtenhauser
began his professional career at the Commerzbank Group after earning his law degree at the University of Bologna in 1989. After leading the Corporate Strategy division since 1999, in 2002 he was appointed to the Management Board of CommerzLeasing und Immobilien AG (CLI) and a year later took over the role of Spokesman of the Board.
